The outdoor panel with digital buttons is identical in appearance with the analogue outdoor panel. The difference is in the simplified wiring and that the outdoor panel with digital buttons does not require a separate conductor to each apartment for ringing. To call an apartment through the outdoor panel the visitor should press the corresponding button with the resident’s name. A digital code with the apartment’s number will be sent to the called doorphone. Only the doorphone that recognizes its digital code will ring. There is a specific ring tone for entrance calls. Furthermore, if the building has more then one entrances, the doorphone rings with a distinctive melody for each entrance. The digital system with buttons has the same functions and advantages inherent to the digital system with keypad and LCD. A video camera and a card-reader can be easily added to the panel.
